Notice on adjusting the detection time of PCR test and IgM test and an update on adding an antigen test
2022-03-25 22:17

In order to reduce cross-border transmission of Covid-19, From April 4, 2022, new adjustment will be conducted to the detection time of the nucleic acid (PCR) tests and IgM anti-body test required for obtaining the green health code or a certified health declaration. Meanwhile, a rapid antigentest (RAT) before boarding the flight will be needed for all Chinese and foreign passengers who are to fly from Croatia to China. The adjustments are as follows:

1. For people who have completed vaccinations

The two nucleic acid (PCR) tests should be conducted at two different designated testing institutions, and should be completed within 48 hours before boarding (calculating from the sampling time and accurate to the minute) , and the second test should be completed within 24 hours before boarding. For example, if the flight time is 12:15 on May 12, the first sampling time should be after 12:15 on May 10, and the second sampling time should be after 12:15 on May 11.

2. For People who are not vaccinated

The IgM anti-body test should be conducted at a designated testing institution , and should be completed within 48 hours before boarding. The nucleic acid (PCR) testing should be completed within 24 hours before boarding (calculating from the sampling time and accurate to the minute). For example, if the flight time is 12:15 on May 12, the sampling time for IgM test should be after 12:15 on May 10, and the nucleic acid (PCR) test should be after 12:15 on May 11.

3. Passengers who are to fly from Croatia to China need to complete a rapid antigen test (RAT) in a qualified indoor testing institution within 12 hours before boarding (Please find the attachment for the list of recommended antigen testing institutions, and it is recommended to choose the antigen testing point at Zagreb Airport or Dubrovnik Airport). Please provide the airline with the RAT report, cooperate with the airline for inspection, and send the test results to the embassy emailpcrtest.hrv@gmail.com with the title of the email marked as name + antigen test.

(Note: 1. If the flight takes off in the morning, the antigen test can be conducted in the afternoon of the day before. 2. If the last nucleic acid test (PCR) is completed within 12 hours before boarding, the antigen test can be waived.)

4.Reminder

4.1 A negative RAT report is not required for the obtaining of the green health code or a certified health declaration .After receiving the negative results of two PCR tests or PCR +IgM test , please apply for the health code or certified health declaration as soon as possible.

4.2 Please remember to send the RAT results to pcrtest.hrv@gmail.combefore boarding the flight, otherwise the embassy will cancel the passed health code or certified health declaration, which will influence the passengers from obtaining a new health code or certified health declaration in the transit country.

4.3 The above mentioned tests should be completed in Croatia and the transit country respectively. Please check the transit country's entry regulations and its PCR, IgM anti-body and antigen tests requirements beforehand.

The above adjustment will be implemented from April 4, 2022
