On July 30th, Ambassador of the People's Republic of China to the Republic of Croatia H.E. Mr. Hu Zhaoming met with Mr. Daniel Glunčić, who is Head of Office of the President of Croatian Parliament and General Secretary of Croatian Democratic Party Mr. Gordan Jandroković.
Ambassador Hu Zhaoming stated that from this year China-Croatia relations had sustained heartening trend of fast development. Cooperation of two countries in big projects had achieved a historical breakthrough, the next Meeting of Leaders of China and Central and Eastern European Countries would be held in Croatia and China-Croatia relations were facing new historical opportunity. Cooperation between political parties was a founding stone of bilateral relations, which had very important role in increasing bilateral political consensus and mutual trust, as well as in promoting stable and sustainable development of bilateral relations. Chinese side was willing to strengthen communication and dialogue with all Croatian political parties, including Croatian Democratic Union (HDZ), develop in-depth exchange of experiences and mutual learning in governing the country and other aspects, in order to guide the direction of development of bilateral relations and continuously increase the level of bilateral cooperation.
Mr. Daniel Glunčić agreed with Ambassador's statements, said that Croatian Parliament would actively push Croatian Democratic Union and other parties in the Parliament to start multi-mode exchange and cooperation with Chinese side, thusly contributing to the development of Croatia-China relations in the new era.
