On February 4, 2026, Ambassador Qi Qianjin of China to Croatia met with Dr. Zoran Barac, President of the Croatian Wushu Federation, and Mr. Petar Turkovic, Executive Director of the Federation.

Ambassador Qi expressed his appreciation for the Federation’s outstanding performance at the Embassy’s Spring Festival reception. He noted that the Croatian public has demonstrated growing interest in learning more about China, and stated that the Embassy will further strengthen cooperation with the Croatian Wushu Federation to showcase the charm of Chinese culture through sports activities and to promote friendship between the peoples of the two countries.

Dr. Barac praised China’s achievements in economic and technological development and thanked the Embassy for its strong support of the Croatian Wushu Federation. He expressed his willingness to maintain close communication with the Embassy and to continue promoting Chinese wushu and traditional culture in Croatia.
