On August 25, Chinese Ambassador to Croatia Qi Qianjin met with Damjana Domanovac, head of Place2go, the organizer of Croatian International Tourism Exhibition. 

Ambassador Qi stated that China is about to launch direct flights from Beijing to Zagreb, which will greatly boost people-to-people exchanges and goods trade between China and Croatia. The two countries should seize the opportunity to deepen two-way tourism cooperation and consolidate people-to-people friendship and cultural affinity.

Ms. Domanovac noted that there is enormous potential for cooperation between industries of Croatia and China. Taking the launch of the direct China-Croatia flights as an opportunity, she expressed readiness to strengthen exchanges with China, and jointly elevate cultural and tourism cooperation between the two countries to a new stage.
