On September 8, Chinese Ambassador to Croatia Qi Qianjin met with Božinović, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior of Croatia.

Ambassador Qi stated that the China-Croatia comprehensive cooperative partnership has maintained sound and steady development, and the two sides have achieved fruitful outcomes in cooperation covering infrastructure, green transition, tourism and other fields. He thanked the Croatian side for the consistent support and assistance provided in matters concerning Chinese citizens. Ambassador Qi expressed the hope that the two countries would further strengthen exchanges and cooperation in fields such as policing and law enforcement, so as to elevate China-Croatia relations to a new level.

Mr. Božinović noted that Croatia attaches great importance to developing relations with China, and thanked the Chinese side for its regular participation in the China-Croatia joint police patrol programme. The Croatian government stands ready to boost exchanges in security, policing and related areas, and welcomes more investment projects by Chinese enterprises in Croatia.
