On October 10 local time, the Action Outline for China-Germany Cooperation issued in Berlin made planning, and put forward a series of proposals and measures, for the bilateral innovative cooperation in the medical and healthcare field in the future.As to the field of public health emergency management and emergency medical rescue, both sides agreed to carry out such activities as joint communicating, training and drilling, build an integrated emergency rescue system in China, set up a platform for the exchange of information on emergent occurrence of acute infectious diseases, strengthen cooperation in prevention, controlling and treatment of infectious diseases, improve the capability of both sides in handling emergency, and promote exchanges of practical experience in medical emergency management as well as sharing of scientific research achievements.
Based on the consensus reached by the two governments, the cooperation in the medical and healthcare field was listed among the first key fields of China-Germany innovative cooperation.
