On May 8, 2018, Premier Li Keqiang sent a message to Dmitry Medvedev, congratulating him on his re-election as Prime Minister of the Government of the Russian Federation.
Li Keqiang expressed in the congratulatory message that in recent years, China-Russia comprehensive strategic partnership of coordination has continued maintaining development at a high level. Both sides have steadily advanced practical cooperation in such fields as economy and trade, investment, energy, agriculture, aviation and space, people-to-people and cultural engagement and cooperation at local level, which has vigorously promoted the common development and rejuvenation of the two countries.
