On June 26, the Embassy of the People's Republic of China in Croatia and the Croatian Chamber of Commerce jointly held a presentation on quality and safety of Chinese foodstuffs and farm produces in Zagreb. Over 100 people attended, including the representatives of importers and exporters of Chinese foodstuffs and farm produces who were on a visit to Croatia organized by China Chamber of Commerce for Import and Export of Foodstuffs, Native Produce and Animal Byproducts, Croatian government officials, members from the Croatian Chamber of Commerce and the Croatian entrepreneurs.

The Chinese side presented the safety management system of China's export of foodstuffs and the Croatian side also briefed about the status quo of production and trade of farm produces and byproducts. Enterprises from both sides held trade discussions and reached an intent of cooperation.
