On August 23, Ambassador Deng received Vice-secretary of the CPC Hainan Provincial Committee, Li Xiansheng on occasion of his official visit to the Republic of Croatia.
Ambassador Deng welcomed the establishment and the further deepening of friendly relations between Chinese province of Hainan and Croatian Dubrovnik-Neretva county, stating the development of mutual cooperation as a crucial part of two countries' relations, and wishing both provinces to explore their full potential by actively using China and Southeast Europe Business Association mechanism as cooperative platform, so as to enhance mutual cooperative relations in tourism, maritime, people-to-people exchanges and other fields.
Li Xiansheng was in Croatia on official visit from 23rd till 26th of August, when he signed the Letter of Intent of Establishing Friendly Relationship with Dubrovnik-Neretva County in the Republic of Croatia.
