On April 15th, Chinese ambassador to Croatia Deng Ying called on Croatian President Kolinda Grabar-Kitarović. They discussed future development of China-Croatia bilateral ties by strengthening mutual pragmatic cooperation in various fields.
President Kolinda Grabar-Kitarović asked H.E. Deng Ying to convey her sincere greetings to President Xi Jinping, expressing her heartfelt appreciation for President Xi for sending special envoy to attend her inaugural ceremony. The Croatian President stressed that she has full confidence in the further development of friendly relations between Croatia and China.
Ambassador Deng Ying indicated that President Kitarovic's initiative "For Better Croatia" has offered the road map for Croatia's development, which has much in common with the President's Xi concept of "Chinese Dream" in realizing the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation. At present, China-Croatia cooperation is facing with great opportunities at three levels, namely, on bilateral, within the framework of China-CEE and China-EU cooperative mechanisms. Ambassador Deng expressed firm belief that under the Croatian President's guidance, the friendly relations between China and Croatia will obtain new fruitful results.
