Notice on the Further Extension and Expansion of the Fingerprint Exemption Policy for Visa Applications

To further facilitate visa applicants, effective immediately until 31st December 2026, Our Embassy will exempt all applicants applying for visas with a duration of stay not exceeding 180 days from fingerprint collection.

Applicants for D, J1, Q1, S1, X1, and Z visas, who are required to apply for a residence permit after entering China, are still required to have their fingerprints collected in accordance with relevant regulations.
